Legalized sports betting is now available in Iowa. However, unlike other states, this gambling option is not regulated, and a bill to legalize it is still pending in the state legislature. The bill is awaiting committee review. It is the first step in the legislative process and is chaired by Republican Bobby Kaufmann of Wilton.
